 ABOUT THE SITE

The ANGRY ROBOT you see today came from my habit of liking the lesser-known, and even lesser quality of video games, anime, and movies. (It was formerly a weblog with the same purpose, but LIVEJOURNAL's easy accessibility made having to make my own weblog unnecessary.) That's why most of the reviews here are of games/movies/shows you've probably never heard of, or have heard of, and never wanted to touch. consider this site my way of letting you know what you're missing, if your missing anything at all.

Why ANGRY ROBOT? It kinda clicked in my head when I had to come up with a brand name for a graphic design class in Junior High. And, like all the Maddox wannabes and fanboys, wanted to have a site of my own where I could use my sophomoric humor and surly attitude to review games and whatnot, and generally write up whatever I felt like.

The quote "In Soviet Russia, videogame plays you", was my own variation of the famous comedian Yakov Smirnoff's "In Soviet Russia..." jokes. I thought it was pretty funny, so I used the "Soviet Russia" part of the quote as a basis for the site layout. I in no way support Communism.

But you have to admit, the Soviet Union had some style back then.
