Welcome to John and Audra's Castlevania Page:

Hi there. Just wanted everyone to know I'm alive and still love Castlevania. I'm just sitting here listening to Castlevania mp3's, looking back at the past 5 years. Time really freaking flies. I remember when the site was new (and popular, lol...) and I had all these friends in the CV community. I still run into some of you every now and the online and it's nice. (ORCHIDSSR, I haven't forgotten you! Your poetry is on my laptop and I am still trying to work out a section.)
It's funny as I sit here and listen to old Castlevania 64 .mp3's I grow misty for the hazy summer days of 1999. A 20 year old, my own apartment, Castlevania 64 and Star Wars: Episode I. (And lots of trips to Taco Bell to collect Star Wars caps!) Those were the friggin' days.
A friend from a message board will be sending me Dracula X: Rondo Of Blood shortly. Finally, after all these years, I will play it. The only Castlevania game I've never played. I'm psyched, to say the least.
I need to add some stuff to the page, but the old page files are dead and gone, all housed between my 2 Macs between the G3 (1998-2001) and my iBook (2001-2004). The iBook basically died on me, it's still sort of functional, but everything was lost when it crashed in September, 2003. (Stuff I received after is still there.) I need to decide what html program I'll be using.
But for now, I'll just say that I liked Lament Of Innocence, though I also liked the 2 Castlevania 64 titles. I don't feel that Lament blew them out of the water, but it was certainly fun.
