Meet Casey Jones (Season 1, Episode 4)
Gah! This one episode has tainted me for the entire series. And this is all because of one thing: Casey Jones. I am a huge Casey fan. The character rocks... when he's done right. But dammit, the guy they got doing him now makes him sound so whiney. Casey may not be the smartest character ever written, but he's not a whiney immature baby. Stupid show.
So yeah, this is gonne bring the whole score for this show down. As it is though, this is a filler episode that continues on the "Oh my, Purple Dragons" plotthread and intros Casey into the series.
Much in the fashion of the comics and movie, Casey and Raph meet up when Raph is off by himself. The two call each other "freak," fight for a little while, and then have gay man sex... then there's that whole awkward moment afterwards...
I swear that last part is in the show. Honest.
Casey is doin his vigilante thing against the Purple Dragons. Apparently he has some history with them. They killed his gerbil, Poopsie, and he never recovered. I know when my gerbils are killed by evil gang members, I don sorting attire and kick some ghetto ass.
As it is, Raph sees how extreme Casey is, and we get that humorous juxtaposition as Raph tires to convice someone to calm down. It all build to a climactic fight in Central Park between the two and some gang mambers. In the end everyone is friends, and more gay man sex is had by all.
