Nano (Season 1, Episode 5)
I want to preface this by saying that if I had only picked up the Nano figure at Target when I had the chance, cause I can never find him now. Fucking collectors.
Anyway, some scientists created nanites. We join them as they are running tests on the nanite hive, commenting on its juvenile attitude and punishing it. Mean scientists. We are all glad when the nanites escape.
Sadly, the nanites bond with a thief. It's weird, the nanites go from a cloud of particles to a humanoid form... seeing as how they can manipulate matter into whatever form they want. I dunno why humanoid is the way to go, but that's what it does. The thief uses nano to break into places and stel shinies. Fuck, I would too.
Meanwhile the green-goes and Casey (stupid Casey) are helping April clean up her store. Eventually the turtles and Nano go head to head, and Nano then takes more amtter into itself and grows bigger. It then wipes the floor with the turtles.
Oh yeah, and somewhere in here the thief and nano bond more. Quite sweet.
I'll skip a lot of boring plot and get to the big battle where the turtles destroy nano at a junkyard, although, conveniently, it's the theif that accidentally does the killing blows. As the cops come, he's in tears over his dead "kid." Heartfelt. Honest.
I liked this ep, strangely. It wasn't due to any of the turtles, or the thief. No, nano rocked. I liked the character, and if they have any way of bringing him back, I will be much pleased.
