Garbageman (Season 1, Episode 9)

It's random villain of the week time, kiddies! Today we have (dun-dun dun) The Garbageman! A name that... fails to strike much fear in anyone's hearts. Amusingly, far as I can tell, this villain was so pathetic, they haven't yet even made a figure for him. Considering the fact that EVERY SINGLE VARIETY of foot gets a figure now, that's pretty damn sad.
Anyway, the bros all go to the city dump to collect various useful bits of garbage for use around their pad. Donnie is the most active in this activity, needing all sorts of parts to finish building, among other things, his time machine, his cloning tube, and his girl turtle sex-bot.
While at the dump, we are introduced to a bunch of bums (literally) that just scream "fodder." Obviously, the turtle befriend all these bums so that, byt the time danger looms, they have to go and save them. And save them they will.
See, around town there have been sightings of a van more tricked out than the TMNT wagon. The van has been collecting the bums from around town and taking them somewhere... well, no one knows really where. Of course, no one cares except for the TMNT, cause they're just bums anyway.
We can see where this is going. The bums the TMNT are friends with get captured, and the TMNT have to go save them. We follow the omnious, tricked out van to an island fortress. There's some kind of mining operation or something... I fail to remember excatly what was going on. Suffice it to say the bums are being used for slave labor. That's the evil plan. Capture slave bums. Scary.
When the TMNT arrive, the first thing they do is save the slave bums. We are then introed to the Garbageman, a weird dude that's confined to a chair so mechanized Mr Freeze's head would orgasm over it. There is a battle, Garbageman supposedly dies, and the world's bums breathe a colletive sigh of relief.
Aside from the outstandingly bad plot, the episode actually wasn't bad. The writing, ever so slowly, does seem to be improving. Here's hoping the plots can do likewise.
Score: 6.8
