The Shredder Strikes, Part 2 (Season 1, Episode 11)
This episode, obviously, pick up right where the last left off. We see the turtles go face to face with Shredder... and lose. Shredder is well trained, almost inhumanly so. Actually, I can definetly say inhumanly so, since he's besting the turtles, and they aern't human.
Anyway, like it always plays out, the TMNT lose and have to flee. The Shredder sends out his goons to chase them down. To avoid being seen, the turtles split up. Now, again, if they were good ninjas, they could just usetheir ninja skill and avoid being seen, even if they were in a group. Ah, plot holes.
They eventually shake the foot, with the aid of one of the aliens and Splinter, who comes out of his den of woodchips and food pellets to kick some foot ass. As we've seen time and again, he and Splinter are the ones that finally go head to head, and, as if it could be any other way, Splinter kicks Shredder's ass, and apparently kills him. We know he isn't dead, but it's very climactic just the same.
There is much rejoicing, and Splinter may even make a funny.
While light on plot, the actions is pretty solid, and the writing better than average.
