2001 - 2007 Updates

September 3, 2007: That's it, and that's all. Summer vacation is over, and I'm back in school. I wish I had more vacation time, but thems the breaks. At least I got back to NY to find some nice tri-Ace goodness waiting for me in the form of two Star Ocean EX pencil boards and *ahem* the Valkyrie Profile Limited Box. Yes, another tri-Ace "holy grail" is now mine. :D The pocket watch is actually not quite as ritzy as it looks in pictures, but it's still pretty darn slick nonetheless. I possibly paid slightly more than I should have, but it was worth it to finally get it, plus the game was still sealed. Anyway, you can see these new additions on the Video Game Collection page and the tri-Ace Collection page. In other news, the 8th issue of Video Game Collector has been out for a little while now, and it was definitely worth the wait. Be sure to check out the site at www.vgcollector.com if you don't already have a subscription to order it or to find the nearest store that carries it.

August 13, 2007: Small updates to a couple different pages for you today. I added more info and pictures to one comic on the "secret" Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page. (If you don't know how to get there, don't ask.) I also added two more games to the Video Game Collection page.

August 9, 2007: Boy, this summer is blowing by fast. It's almost kind of depressing make each update because it makes me realize what the date is and the fact that there are things I wanted to do this summer that I STILL haven't gotten around to. I can't complain too much, though, because I have been having a lot of fun and doing things for myself. Anyway, this summer sure has been weird for game hunting. First the ColecoVision, then the CD-i game, and now I've added a third new system to the Video Game Collection page - the Sega Master System. New gaming experiences abound this summer, and if that wasn't enough, I've also been getting new game experiences from all these accessories I've been picking up like the Super Scope and Power Pad. Overall, though, I'd say this summer has been dominated by Sega. I've been finding Genesis games more than anything, and I have a huge Genesis lot coming my way with a Power Base Converter to play those aforementioned Master System games on. Good stuff. I also bought a couple interesting tri-Ace items that I'll definitely be talking about later. Well, I'm off to organize my crap before even more shows up!

July 28, 2007: This update is about as tiny as they get. I have one game added to the Video Game Collection page, but I actually added a whole new system in the process. Yes, you'll now find the CD-i on my list. :P No, I don't own the system (yet, and it'll probably stay a "yet" for a long, long time), but when I found a CD-i game sitting at the Goodwill among Hanson CDs, how could I possibly resist? I mean, the cover of an iguana-man in a spaceship wearing a head set alone is pure gold.

July 24, 2007: Today I just have an update to the Video Game Collection page to add a whole bunch of games I've picked up in the last few days. I still have no idea how I racked up so many PS2 games. O_o

July 19, 2007: I've been working on the site like crazy this past week, and to show for it I have a nice meaty update to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages. You'll finds loads of new comics and tons of changes and additions made to the photos and info of previously listed doujinshi. It's amazing that I'm still finding so many new comics to add after all these years, although these days I'm finding ones that have been made in the last few years in addition to the typical 2000-2001 releases. I guess it's proven fact now that the PSP release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and the sequel Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria have inspired artists to pick up their pens and return to these captivating characters. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten Star Ocean either, so I did some routine updating to the Star Ocean Merchandise page. I don't have any new products to add to it, of course, but you will find some photos replaced, some new ones added, and a bit of additional info here and there. I was doing the same for the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page, but I surprisingly came across two new minor items to add as well - a post card and a telephone card. Not too thrilling, I know, but it does raise the question that, if after the page had seemed so complete there were still some missing items, what else might possibly be out there? It's kind of exciting to think about, but, honestly, I don't think there's much of anything left. However, since there's no way to truly know that the list is ever complete, it'll always be a mystery. Finally, I have the usual update to the Video Game Collection page just to keep myself organized. Now hurry and go enjoy, or I'll kick ya in the bum for not appreciating all my hard work! :P

July 8, 2007: Well, here we are in July, over a month into my summer vacation, and about half a year since my last update. I'm not gonna go back and check all the old updates (I'll leave that to my bitter visitors), but I think this might be the longest time ever between updates and the only time I wasn't able to make a single update during the entire duration of a school semester. I know I sound like a broken record, but I gotta apologize for that. No, my outlook on this site hasn't changed any, it's still as important to me as ever; I just had a brutal semester. It was the toughest one yet, and everything was made all the worse when in the middle of it my grandma, who I loved dearly, passed away. Summer vacation has been pretty good so far, though, and I'm more than ready to let go of all my worries and just try to have a good time. So, of course, that means getting back to this site. In case anybody has noticed, I have actually been updating the site all these months, but only to add more stuff to the Video Game Collection page and the tri-Ace Collection page. Now I'm back in action for real, and to get the ball rolling, I made some additions and slight changes to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages. The most significant change was finally identifying that comic listed as "unknown" and also getting more pictures and information for it. Seeing it sit at the bottom of the page was really annoying me. :P That's it for now, but I promise I'll update again before it's 2008, hehe!

January 26, 2007: Yikes, school is about to start soon! Then off I go back to classes and work, freezing my butt off in this bitter cold that has finally hit NYC, and free time will be a luxury. Don't worry, though, I still have my mind on this site. Today all I've done is add one single game to the Video Game Collection page, but I do want to talk about things to come. As you may remember, I ordered a big box of manga several months, and I'm just now finally about done reading through them. All I have left are two Star Ocean: Blue Sphere comics, which I purposely saved for last. I also just ordered three more Blue Sphere comics off of eBay (which obviously weren't for the cheapest prices ever, but I need them promptly). Now I will be able to write mini-reviews and fill in almost all of the gaps for the manga. The Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page is already looking great as far as I'm concerned, but this will get it even more complete. As I said some time ago, I don't foresee any new products being added (besides possibly some unlicensed stuff like doujinshi), so now it's just a matter of acquiring these products myself and writing those mini-reviews. :)

January 12, 2007: Since I forgot to mention it in previous updates, I wanted to make an update basically just to bring it to everyone's attention that Video Game Collector Issue #7 is out in stores and available for order online, and it's by far the best and biggest issue yet. I'm proud of my own work since instead of my typical half-page review I did a full 3-page article called "NES A-Z" as well as a small sidebar for the Castlevania article, but you gotta check out the other content too. There's a whopping *16 PAGE* photo checklist of EVERY NES game ever made - simply unbelievable, and the articles are only getting better and better. Check out the updated links page to head over to the magazine's site and get information if you don't already know how to get a copy in your hands. :) And since one thing leads to another, I ended up finding three more great Japanese fan art sites that I had to link to while getting the page updated with the Video Game Collector link, so do give those a look too. Finally, I updated the tri-Ace Collection page with a Star Ocean EX DVD I got for Christmas that slipped my mind up until now.

January 6, 2007: I've been a busy little beaver the last couple days, although I can't claim to have much to show for it as far as my online projects go. I've been cleaning like a mofo today, but with all this time off and alone, I also squeezed in time to update the links page. I fixed a few things here and there, and I added several new Japanese fan art sites that everybody should definitely check out. The page was lacking in sites related to Radiata Stories and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, so hopefully these new ones will help fill in the gap.

January 4, 2007: Happy New Year! It's hard to believe it's 2007 already, but hopefully it'll be a great year, even if it didn't get off to a very good start for me and Andreas. We both caught a cold right before New Years, so we were feeling like poop. I'm feeling a lot better now, though, and he ran off to that MAGFest convention in Virginia. Hopefully I can make the best use of this time to be productive and get some things done, whether it be working on the site, my FAQs, or even just organizing my room. For now I just got a small update to the Video Game Collection page since I can't resist after-Christmas GameCube liquidation. I also finally cleaned up this page a bit by moving the 2004 and 2005 updates to the old updates page.

December 28, 2006: Merry Christmas, everyone! Even though my classes have been over for a couple weeks, I've only just now started to relax since first I had finals to worry about and then I was rushing to take care of all my Christmas preparations. Now I just need to finish up registration for the next semester, and I'll be in the clear. As for this update, additions to the Video Game Collection page and Christmas go hand-in-hand, although I did get to remove a couple duplicates thanks to some pre-Christmas eBay sales I made. Believe it or not I didn't receive any games or systems as presents this year. The additions are mostly what I got for Andy and some stuff I picked up for myself. This year he gave me Pete & Pete Season 2 on DVD (rock on), and a brand new 30GB video iPod. I mentioned that I kind of wanted my own iPod, but I wasn't thinking it would actually happen considering how expensive they are. I was thinking maybe I could get a small, ratty used one on eBay for relatively cheap some day. Andy just had to go all out, though, and even though I still think he spent too much money on me, it is definitely a thing of beauty. Now to just fill it with all of my game soundtracks and use it all next semester. :) But for the real kicker, he got a personal engravement on the back of it for me, which says: "People say, the universe is a Star Ocean." I so freakin' win.

December 16, 2006: Even though I can hardly relax or think about anything due to stress from school, I managed to remove a game and add five more to the Video Game Collection page. I'm so close yet so far right now, with only day of finals left but a bunch of work left to do. Even when I'm done with that, I still have to worry about registration for the Spring and taking care of all my Christmas crap. Oh well, that sweet, sweet vacation will come soon, and I can't wait to play some games (to FINALLY finish off Valkyrie Profile 2) and work on this site. :)

November 26, 2006: A few more days and a few more games. Other than some random imports, these are some pretty unusual additions to the Video Game Collection page. I just couldn't resist getting all three of the freakin' hilarious Burger King games, despite that I have no Xbox or 360. It kind of presented a dilemma of where to list them since each disc has a version for each system, but I figured I'd chuck them under the Xbox section I already had. I'm also the proud owner of a new Wii, and let me say, I went through hell to get it. It wasn't even my decision either since if it was up to me I wouldn't bother getting one until later on. However, my boyfriend just had to get Zelda, as well as his brother and his buddy. They had the bright idea of going to the Nintendo World store in Manhattan on Black Friday morning of all days, and since only two of them could go, they forced me to come along in order to buy the third. :P We stayed up the entire night in order to leave the house at 5:30 in the morning (it was either that or get like... 3 hours or sleep), and we found a huge line down the block when we arrived at 6:30 or so. The store opened at 7, and with roughly around 50 people in front of us (which wasn't even half of the entire line), they ran out of Wiis. Turns out they only had 100 measly systems, which is beyond illogical and incompetent to me considering of all days a store should be well-stocked and ready to sell tons should be Black Friday, yet they couldn't even get through the line waiting before opening let alone anyone else. They told us that they MIGHT get a shipment in later that day, but they didn't know when or how many. We decided to wait, and all day they fed us lies. They were just about as unorganized as any store could possibly be, and they even refused to give out any sort of ticket in order to assure that the people waiting the longest would be the first to get Wiis if they did indeed come in that day. After several hours, my boyfriend and his brother walking all over the area to check other stores, eating some really shitty pizza across the street and using a bathroom that I swear was in Silent Hill, and being kicked outside to stand in a line yet again, we FINALLY got our Wiis. We got home at 3:30 PM, so the entire outing took about 10 hours. Then I fell asleep around 6 PM and slept for 18 hours straight. o_o The moral of the story? Never, ever, EVER go shopping on Black Friday.

November 18, 2006: Man, calculus is a pain in the ass. This very well may be the craziest semester yet for me. And if you think I'm just making excuses for why I haven't updated in so long, you remember me talking about playing Valkyrie Profile 2 months ago? Yeah, well, I'm still playing it. o_O And I haven't been putting it off for any other game either; I just have that little time for gaming. I'm pretty close to the end now, though. As for this update, I got some a few items added to the tri-Ace Collection page as well as some games to the Video Game Collection page. Sorry, but that's it. :( But if you want to see some new writing from me, please do get Issue #6 of Video Game Collector magazine, if you haven't already. You can go to www.vgcollector.com or your local Blockbuster Game Rush location should have it.

September 24, 2006: Sometimes I wish I could just write short little updates, but there always seems to be something interesting to report on that happens between each update. :P First off, my big box of 13 tri-Ace comics arrived, and I've been enjoying them immensely. I got all of them added to the tri-Ace Collection page, and now the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page has its first mini-review! Now it's somewhat respectable for me to have a Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page now that I actually own one of them. :P Also, if you notice what I added to my collection, you'll see that there are a couple other products that should be getting mini-reviews relatively soon. I also updated the Video Game Collection page with one more game since Atlus.com had a very limited number of new copies of Disgaea to sell for $50, and since that's way better than what they're going for on eBay, I figured what the heck. But in more exciting news, it's Tokyo Game Show time, and you know what that means. Big announcements about tri-Ace projects always come around this time of the year, and 2006 is no exception since that mystery XBox 360 game has been given a name - Infinite Undiscovery, and two screen shots have been released. There's also more info out there on it, most of it coming from the Famitsu article feating an interview with Yoshiharu Gotanda. While it's not a whole lot, they're still some tantalizing tidbits indeed.

September 6, 2006: I'm back to school and work, and things are kind of crazy now, but mostly in good ways. When we arrived back in NY, not only was practically all the furniture in our room brand new, but I also had a nice big pile of tri-Ace goodies waiting for me. I got those added to the tri-Ace Collection page. Among that tasty stuff was my Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria Artifact Box, and boy, is it good to finally have my hands on it. Even though I've been back for a couple weeks now, I've only put about 2 hours into the game so far. It's a terrific game, so don't think I'm not that impressed. It's actually because 1) I've been nuts getting things in order with school, work, and home, and 2) because Andy has been totally monopolizing the game! Normally, I'd kick his butt clear to the moon for keeping me from a new tri-Ace game, but this is a special scenario because, while I am the "tri-Ace Super Fan", he is deserving of the title "Valkyrie Profile Super Fan." He's played the original a million times over (yes, I'm exaggerating), way more than I have, and he played the game years before I ever took my first serious plunge at it (I must shamefully admit that I owned the game for years before I ever played through it, and this was AFTER I had already become obsessed with tri-Ace). So... there ya go; he's got well over 20 hours into the game, but I've been so busy that I haven't even seen all that much or been spoiled. In other tri-Ace news, I made a big order for a whopping 13 comics, which include my first Star Ocean 3 comics and my first normal Valkyrie Profile doujinshi. Speaking of Valkyrie Profile doujinshi, I've seen even more newly made comics, so now it's confirmed that the PSP port has cause a resurgence in Valkyrie Profile doujinshi. However, here's a depressing bit of news for myself. I've discovered that some people actually mistakingly assume my doujinshi pages are a store listing! Sheesh, I'm trying to entertain and educate, not hawk goods. :( I wouldn't mind having a buying/sell/trade area on my site someday, maybe if I ever get a forum, but that's definitely not what the main pages are for. I guess people aren't happy unless you serve up every damn page in a comic. :/ Next I'll have people thinking I'm selling games too. Speaking of my game collection, I've updated the Video Game Collection page with a bunch of new games, most of which were birthday presents from Andy. If you noticed, I had to add TWO new sections to the page because Andy went out of his way to buy the weirdest, most obscure stuff he could think of, hehe. Now I got to figure out how I'm going to play my Mega CD games, and I can't play my Virtual Boy game either because, while he did buy me the system, the scumbag seller sent a broken one. Now I'm just waiting for him to get refunded so I can pick out a new one on eBay.

August 16, 2006: While it's no surprise to anyone, I'm sure, I've been so busy doing stuff on my vacation that I haven't had much time for updates (and there was a week or so when I couldn't log into the server), and now my vacation is just about at an end. :( I'm actually kinda looking forward to going back to work, but I could use a longer break from classes and all the stress that they entail. For some reason, this vacation felt like the shortest vacation I've ever had. In some ways, it feels like it still hasn't even really started. Oh well, that's life. I have managed to visit quite a few stores, though, so I've added several games to the Video Game Collection page. Technically, I added them a few days ago, but I didn't get a chance to update this page till now. While I'll be back into my normal grind soon, I'll try to my hardest to make some good updates now and then!

July 20, 2006: I'm about a week into my vacation now, and I just finally got around to installing Smart FTP. So far I haven't done too much, just relaxing, but I did buy a few games which I added to the Video Game Collection page. I don't foresee doing quite as much crazy game hunting as in past summers, though, especially considering my favorite stores are dropping like flies. Anyway, two of the games I bought are PS2 games, which nudges me even closer to the reality that I need to get a US PS2. Ah well, maybe in the next few months. Speaking of the fact that I can only play Japanese PS2 games, I did finally land myself a copy of the Valkyrie Profile 2 Artifact Box, but I did end up paying over 40 bucks more than I would have had I stayed with Play-Asia (and I'm getting it so much later too). :/ I got about a month until I'll be able to play it. Valkyrie Profile has sure been a lot of trouble for me lately; the Trading Arts are a pain too since I found out that you don't get a complete set with a manufacturer's box like you would in the past. Here's to hoping I won't get many duplicates. Maybe I can find someone to trade with. I have been playing some Valkyrie Profile on PlayStation lately, though, trying to finish up the file I started way back in the winter. Well, enough silly blog-style personal updates, this room is too damn hot!

July 4, 2006: Happy 4th of July, my fellow Americans. And for those of you who aren't Americans, well, I wish you a happy Independence Day too whenever it may be, assuming your country has an Independence Day. :P Anyway, now that the big update is out of the way, I can get back to maintaining the small things, like adding a couple more games to the Video Game Collection page. Oh, and since I didn't bring it up yesterday, you may have noticed that the release of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria has come and gone and I haven't said a peep about it (nor will you find it in this recent update to the collection listing). Well... let's just say I got royally screwed over. I had a pre-order on the Artifact Box for three months, but after two of those months, I switched from Play-Asia to NCS thinking the game might get to me faster and quicker (seeing as it wouldn't have to ship to Hong Kong, and I live in the same city as NCS's warehouse). Boy, what a bad decision that was (although, my logic was sound and it's really not my fault). Because NCS isn't responsible enough to deal with reliable, honest sellers, they're at the mercy of price gougers, which wouldn't be so bad if you just come along on the game's release date and see how much it's going to cost, but it's a frickin' royal bitch if you've had a pre-order for a month and have been promised that your order will be filled at so-and-so price. Since I'm a stubborn person that refuses to let myself get completely ripped off, I refused to buy it at nearly double the price. However, it was also too late to get it from any other stores (including Play-Asia, the source of my original pre-order). So yeah... major disappointment... major anger... major suck. I WILL get an Artifact Box, no question about that, but I likely won't be playing it until after I get back from my yearly vacation in Washington, which means no Valkyrie Profile 2 for me or Andy until late August. :( If Square Enix of America is actually going to stick to the rumored September release date for the US version, I won't even be able to play it much of any earlier than US gamers. But I view it unlikely that they'll make September, anyway. Ah well, until then, I'm just trying to block Valkyrie Profile 2 out of my thoughts, besides the hunt in getting my own copy, that is. On a related note, I'm NEVER going to use NCS to pre-order any high-value, limited edition item ever again, and I advise my visitors to do the same (they have a history of problems with these items). And even though I've had some good experiences with them in the past, this burns me so bad that I'm going to try to avoid buying from them at all in the future, unless they're absolutely the cheapest option available for an item I know they have in stock at the given price (unlikely, since sales tax for me always makes them more expensive than other online import stores).

July 3, 2006: While my rate of updates kind of dropped off recently, I've actually been doing a ton of site work, more than in early June even. After literally MONTHS of plugging away at it during any free chance I got, I have FINALLY updated the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. And this ain't no piddly update, this is a BIG one. Tons of new products, tons of new pictures, lots of new info, and a whole bunch of my little mini-reviews. Normally, I like to just make small, continuous updates, but the page was so far behind that I needed to just gather everything together at once before it could go up. While I'm hesitant to call the page "complete", I do feel this is about as close to finished as it's going to get, short of making tiny improvements here and there. I don't foresee adding much of any new products in the future, since, 5 years after the game's release, merchandise production has died off, and, to the best of my recollection, this is EVERYTHING that I have ever seen or heard of related to Star Ocean: Blue Sphere. While there may be some doujinshi I'm still not aware of, I can't imagine there are any official products I'm still missing. If, however, any of you visitors are aware of a product that's not listed, please do let me know. Other than that, enjoy the huge update! Hopefully I've done justice to the brilliant game that Star Ocean: Blue Sphere is, and hopefully I've also created a one-stop resource where anyone interested in Star Ocean: Blue Sphere merchandise can get all the information they're seeking. :)

June 16, 2006: I got those aforementioned Star Ocean 2 doujinshi in the mail today, so I added those to the tri-Ace Collection page. Unfortunately, one of the three wasn't about Star Ocean at all; it's a Tales of Destiny doujinshi. I guess it's my own dumb fault for not recognizing it from the cover or asking some questions, even if it was advertised incorrectly (the tough thing about doujinshi is that sometimes they cover more than one subject, so not recognizing the characters on the cover isn't always a bad sign). I don't even know what to do with it now since I don't think there's much of a Tales of Destiny collecting fanbase out there, so I don't know if I could even sell it for 99 cents on eBay (especially considering it's a very low budget doujinshi even if it does have some cute art). Oh well. Also, of the two that are Star Ocean related, one isn't even really a doujinshi, at least in the traditional sense. It's size A5, which means it's small and about the size of official manga (as opposed to doujinshi which are normally the size of loose leaf paper). It contains no stories, mostly just little squares of text and a drawing (no, these are definitely not 4-koma strips). Since a lot of the text seems to have phone numbers and other such info, it seems like the book actually serves as some kind of advertising for doujinshi, artists, and/or circles. Or maybe some sort of classifieds looking people to work on doujinshi or offering service. I dunno, it's rather bizarre. I've never seen a "doujinshi" like this. Makes me wonder where and why it originated. Maybe something given out at a doujinshi convention? Who knows. As a collectible, it's not too thrilling since, like the other two books, it's very low budget and the art isn't all that good for the most part (and there's little of it). I guess my purchase was kinda a bust, eh? Oh well, I never expected much in the first place (especially for 3 books for around $6 shipped). :P

June 9, 2006: I've been getting pretty good about updates the last week or so, haven't I? :) Too bad they're all so small. Today I added a few new pictures to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page.

June 6, 2006: Kinda creepy date, isn't it? Anyway, I just have a tiny update today in order to add a couple more items to the tri-Ace Collection page. I finally got the EB Games promotional poster for Star Ocean 3, and now I have it 17 times over. o_O I got a whole box of them from a fellow member from Digital Press (although the transaction was through eBay), and it's actually the original box that was shipped from the manufacturer (maybe straight from Square Enix?) to some particular EB Games store. Obviously, they had more posters than pre-orders. I doubt they were shipped in boxes of 17 (it's such an odd number, afterall), so I'm guessing they were slowly picking at the box as pre-orders came in. It would be interesting to know how many the box originally had, though. Since I can't call it a "complete" box, like with my manufacturer's box of Wonder Project J2, I might just end up selling off most of them eventually. Of course, I'll save at least one and the box. :) What's actually even cooler than the posters I think is that the box also had an unused little countertop standee to advertise the freebie. It was a very nice surprise since I had no idea I'd be getting it with the posters. I assembled it, and now it sits quite nicely next to my Radiata Stories countertop standee. :) In other news, I just bought a few Star Ocean 2 doujinshi for very cheap, and I have been doing some other site work but it can't go up just yet. ;)

June 5, 2006: The links page was looking a little bare, so I decided to give it an update. I added a couple new sites, and I genuinely like them very much so do give them a visit. I also altered and fixed up the descriptions of some of the old ones. I'm not quite sure what's up with Malik. It looks closed down, which is a damn shame if that's the case, but I'll leave it up a bit longer just in case it's only a move or something. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but it honestly doesn't look too hopeful. :( Looks like I may have to try to find another Radiata Stories fan site worth linking to in the near future.

June 4, 2006: I've added several more doujinshi to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page as well as some new photos and info for a few of the older ones. What's interesting is that these days when I add "new" doujinshi to the page they're pretty much always doujinshi that have just slipped through the cracks over the years since we're long past the golden days of Valkyrie Profile doujinshi creation. However, I was very surprised to see that one of these new additions was actually created just last year in 2005. Makes me wonder if it has to do anything with the release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on PSP, even though the game wasn't released until early 2006. I've long wondered if the port would cause a resurgence in doujinshi creation, but so far, I can't really say I've seen that happen. Time will tell, though. Either way, it is possible that the budget re-release Valkyrie Profile got on PlayStation could've inspired that particular comic (and oddly enough, I believe I heard that Square Enix is planning on doing yet ANOTHER re-release of Valkyrie Profile on PS1, even with the PS3 looming in the horizon). No matter how you slice it, though, Valkyrie Profile is hot right now. There are way more pages of goods on Japan Yahoo auctions now than there was months ago, but a large part of this is people offering pre-orders for the Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria Artifact Box at ludicrous sums. Ah well, everybody wants to make a quick buck. Thank goodness I already have mine on hold. :)

June 3, 2006: Another tiny update to get more games added to the Video Game Collection page. That's it!

May 27, 2006: As I predicted, here is the next update, and my semester of school just finished up. :) Nice to be on break, but I still have several things to take care of before I can really relax and get into my site work and such. For now, I just updated the tri-Ace Collection page and the Video Game Collection page. In other news, E3 has come and gone, and I was very surprised to see things revealed about Japanese-developed games that haven't even been revealed in Japan yet. The nature of the industry sure is changing. A REALLY nice trailer of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria was shown, and the game was even playable! O_O Oh, what I would've given for that opportunity... (get your mind out of the gutter!) Some gameplay videos have also been revealed recently. As for that 360 game, no new information just yet, BUT the PS3 was revealed to cost $600 (or $500 for the crappy package), so yeah... I think I'd rather pay $400 for a 360. o_O

April 13, 2006: Heh, looking back at the last update, it's funny to notice that it was just a few days before my winter vacation ended. Guess what time it is now. Spring break, of course. :P Ah, that's the life of this site, always falling into the same pattern of being updated fairly regularly during vacations, and then I just disappear when school gets going. School and work has been especially heavy lately, as it always is around mid-terms and thereafter. Don't be suprised if I disappear after this break until the semester gets out, but at least I have this little bit of time to catch up on things and relax. I've had purchases dating back to January kicking around, so I finally got the chance to add a ton of stuff to the tri-Ace Collection page and the Video Game Collection page. Even harder was getting everything cleaned up and put away (that I'm STILL working on). I'm just a few games shy of hitting 700, so that's pretty exciting. :) The release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth has come and gone, but I haven't played it more than an hour or two since I don't want to be a jerk borrowing my bro-in-law's PSP all the time. Besides, I've yet to even finish that game in the PlayStation version I was working on. Sadly, not much has changed since months ago. I just had to drop everything to focus on my responsibilities, but maybe I'll finally get the chance to play Valkyrie Profile again during this break. I never did get that pre-order bonus with the PSP version either, so that was disappointing. But I'm trying to make up for it by pre-ordering the big Limited Edition version of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, which is supposed to come out in June. Unfortunately, due to the timing of it, it may arrive at a time in which I won't be able to get to it or play it for some time. Ah well, games are forever, but summer vacation is not. ;) Let's see, what else... Well, I'm a published writer now. :) Video Game Collector Issue # 5 finally came out, and I'm very proud to have written for the magazine and hope to do more in the future. I wrote a review for Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure in that issue, so please do take a look if you can. It's a great magazine/price guide, so I highly recommend that you guys look for it at retail or, better yet, get a subscription at vgcollector.com. And the weirdest tidbit of news of them all... Microsoft recently had a briefing about the XBox 360 in Japan (right now you should probably be wondering why I would even be bringing this up), and according to Famitsu and other reliable news sources, tri-Ace is working on a brand new game for the 360! O_O Holy crap-balls, Batman. I personally am definitely not eager to fork out a mountain of dough for a 360, but considering how expensive the PS3 may be, it might actually end up being cheaper this way, who knows. All I know is that I am very eager for more news.

January 21, 2006: Maintenance is a neverending process, so I got a new comic and other stuff added to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page and some additional content added to the products of the Star Ocean Merchandise page. Still working on that aforementioned hefty update. :)

January 16, 2006: It's funny, I've been so consumed by Valkyrie Profile lately, both playing the original and eagerly awaiting the new releases, that I can hardly get myself interested in anything Star Ocean lately. o_O Ah well, I'm sure it's just a phase. :P I neglect Valkyrie Profile far too often, so it's about time that the tables have turned. Oh, one thing interesting, though, is that I just discovered that a few months ago a new Star Ocean 4-koma manga was released, which in and of itself isn't too special, but this one is related to ALL the Star Ocean games. Very cool. I can't wait to see a new take on the cast of the first Star Ocean. Anyway, my mild Star Ocean interest lately hasn't stopped me from putting several hours into searching through my sources for new information and pictures, and the result is an update to the Star Ocean Merchandise page. No new products, but that's to be expected at this point. I also made small updates to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page and the tri-Ace Collection page. Hopefully the next shall be a nice beefy update!

January 5, 2006: 2006 has started with a real big Valkyrie Profile obsession for me. With the PSP port not long off (with its amazing new FMV), Silmeria in the future, and new information pouring out left and right (the terrific trailer released just recently, in particular), I'm one happy girl, but since I've never been one to only focus on what's brand new, I've been enjoying replaying the original Valkyrie Profile, doing the things I've yet to complete in the game. Unfortunately, I've yet to get the opportunity to work on my Blue Sphere FAQ on this break, but I was able to carry over my Valkyrie Profile obsession into my site work and do a long overdue update to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages. It's funny how no matter how much time passes and how many I find, I ALWAYS seem to discover more doujinshi related to the game, so there are several new ones to check out (most related to Arngrim) along with some additional/altered information here and there. It's small and I wish I had the time to do more, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless!

December 29, 2005: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone! I made out like a bandit this Christmas, getting the aforementioned PC Engine Duo, a GBA SP from my mom, and a 17" LCD monitor from the in-laws, among other cool stuff from family. I also got a game from my Secret Santa on Digital Press along with a few other games I picked up for myself, so these have been added to the Video Game Collection page. I've been out of school for a little while now, but I've yet to get much done besides some game playing since I still have some loose ends to tie up for preparation for next semester. Once January comes around and Andy heads back to work, I should be able to really get cracking on my FAQ work and other stuff. :)

December 16, 2005: Phew, I just survived a school week from hell, and now all I have left is one assignment and one more day of school for finals. It's not time to relax just yet, but I can finally at least work at a comfortable pace and take a break now and then, which I used just now to update the Video Game Collection page. Quite a few games added considering I got a Christmas gift from Andy early... a PC Engine Duo-RX! :) And a whole bunch of games with it. Now I can FINALLY play my Rondo of Blood, along with all the cool new games. I also picked up some other random games for myself while Christmas shopping, and the Star Ocean 3 Director's Cut OST, which was added to the tri-Ace Collection page. Oh, and yeah, two new Valkyrie Profile releases coming. Just a, ahem, *little* tidbit of news for you. ;)

November 23, 2005: Pretty sad and pathetic when nearly a whole month has passed and all I can get updated is the Video Game Collection page with a few more games. :( Oh well, school is consuming my life. Last time it was Halloween, and now I get to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving!

October 30, 2005: A few more games added to the Video Game Collection page. :) Since I doubt I'll do another update tomorrow, Happy Halloween! I'm gonna play some Castlevania to celebrate the holiday tomorrow. >)

October 23, 2005: Just a small update tonight to add a few games to the Video Game Collection page. Yep, that's it. o_O

October 14, 2005: I did some more basic maintenance to the site by adding two utilities that have been gone since... well... the Geocities days I believe. o_O As you can see on the main page, there is now a counter and a guestbook. Since I have no recollection of what the old counter was at when I moved, it's gotta start back at 0. Hopefully it won't trick people into thinking this site was created on this day. :P In addition to the counter, StatCounter.com is providing me with various stat tracking information, so now I can "spy" on you guys once again. >) Hehe, don't worry, it's no spyware or anything, it just tells me how many hits each page gets and what keyword searches are used to find my pages and such, that is, once I get off my lazy butt and insert the code onto every single page on this site. The guestbook is from Bravenet, which, honestly, I don't care for at all, and it's even crappier than the old Geocities guestbook. Oh well, you get what you pay for. But if you guys can take a minute to sign it with your thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate it. I also updated the About Me page to reflect my current state better and just to be less idiotic sounding. :P

October 13, 2005: Either I'm going crazy or tri-Ace actually knows of my existence and cares about what I have to say... or they're trying to play a strange trick on me. o_O So as you may know, I've been making a few small but needed site updates these last few days; I changed a few things on the credits page, and I gave the links page a complete overhaul. Sadly, a lot of the pages had gone under since the last update to that page, and I also needed to make some of the descriptions more relevant to the present day and just more intelligently worded (yes, believe it or not, I am getting SLIGHTLY wiser as I grow older :P ). I've been putting some effort into finding good replacements for the links page, since I don't want it looking pathetic with only a couple sites linked to. So I got a few new sites added, as you can see, and I updated some text, such as the official tri-Ace site description. Then, a mere few hours after getting it online, I happen to check tri-Ace's site on a whim... and lo and behold, there is an entirely NEW layout. My initial reaction: "Holy-fucking-shit. O_O" I get filled with excitement over the prospect of news of the next project, but ultimately, I find none. I do, however, discover that the vast majority of the old content is long gone, so the whole change ends up more saddening to me than anything else. Oh well, that's life. At least I've preserved a fair portion of the old content. I just apologize if I've made the (newly updated for the second time today) description seem too negative because, you know me, I'll always love tri-Ace's site no matter what they do to it. They could put nothing but Lemon Party on it, and I'd still lovingly gaze at it everyday, hehe. Oh, and finally, if you noticed this page got a little shorter, check out the old updates page to see the 2003 updates, where they now reside.

October 8, 2005: Finally another update, but sadly, it's a small, mostly self-indulgent one. I've added a few more games to the Video Game Collection page and a few items to the tri-Ace Collection page. As expected, I'm back in NYC and back in school now. What's cool is that I'm taking my very first course in graphics! Well, anyway, I have done a little review writing lately, but it's for a special project I'll share with you guys later. ;)

July 9, 2005: Just a small update today. I got several more games (I nearly doubled my Dreamcast collection, whoo!), so they've been added to the Video Game Collection page. I'm very close to hitting 600! Because of this, I decided that the description on the page was long overdue for a change. I can't keep being humble and pretending for all eternity that I have a small collection. I gotta face it, it's pretty damn big. :P Well, that's it for now! Back to work on the Blue Sphere FAQ. :)

July 3, 2005: I'm in Washington yet again to enjoy a portion of my summer vacation here, and this time I'm alone for a brief amount of time (Andy shall follow shortly :) ). I've been a very busy little monkey. I've been shopping for new games, adding over 10 new ones to the Video Game Collection page already. I've been having fun trying those out (Wave Race 64 rocks!), and I've been playing through the original Final Fantasy on NES, which I've been wanting to do for some time. I still have a massive stack of old NES-SNES era Nintendo Power issues to read through as well, hehe. As expected, family and chores have been keeping me busy too. I just finally, after nearly two weeks, got the opportunity to get back to work on the site again. As you can see, the Castlevania: Circle of the Moon review, Tail Concerto review, and Wonder Project J2 review are all back up. Check them out if you never did before! At the moment, I'm mostly just planning on getting back to work on my Blue Sphere FAQ, so there may not be another update for a little while. However, since I intend on eventually hosting my FAQs here, it is technically site work. ;)

May 22, 2005: Hi, guys! Just a little update to let you know that I only have one more class for this semester and I'm done! Finally, I can relax, play some games, and work on my site and FAQs. :) At the moment, I don't have much to offer, besides a very tiny update to the tri-Ace Collection page. Mainly I just need to point out that three of my reviews, the ones for Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Tail Concerto, and Wonder Project J2 are going to be MIA for a little while. I'm going to have them on an alternate site that I'll using as my final project for a computer course I'm taking. When I'm all done with it, they'll be back up as always.

January 16, 2005: Boy, I get worse and worse about updating, don't I? I apologize for the excessively long wait for any kind of update. No need to fear that the site is abandoned, though. Even when you don't see anything going on around here, I'm still on the web and I still have intentions to continue with my site. Anyway, I've been on winter vacation for a few weeks now. I was quite busy both during the summer and this last school semester, so that explains the lack of updates. Now that I've finally had a little break, I've been working hard at whipping the site back into shape. So far, I've gotten a lot of new items, pictures, info, and personal opinions added to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages and the Star Ocean Merchandise page. Be sure to check out my little "mini-reviews" for the Star Ocean Perfect Sound Collection and the Star Ocean Soundtrack; I put a lot of work into those. Also, you can see that I've acquired and listed a whole bunch more games and merchandise on the Video Game Collection page and the tri-Ace Collection page. Next up are the Blue Sphere and Star Ocean 3 pages. I should have a lot more video games and tri-Ace merchandise coming soon, but I'm a bit worried about my order of 10 comics because it's been over 2 WEEKS and the store still doesn't have my international money order. Sometimes I frickin' hate the postal system. o_O Well, wish me luck with the coming school semester and that order, and I'll do my best to get more site work and FAQ work done. :)

April 12, 2004: Sorry about the abrupt disappearance of the site, guys. I hope none of you deleted your bookmarks and thought my site was gone for good. :P That definitely isn't going to happen anytime soon. I love this little site. :) Well, anyway, what happened is that some dumb kid thought he was clever and got into the server one way or another and deleted everything. While I don't know if anyone else lost anything, I personally have everything backed up. However, not until now did I get an opportunity to upload everything again. Unfortunately, I don't have much of an update to offer you guys (just be glad the site is back, dammit! :P ). I'm about 3/4 through my current college semester, and I'm also busy cooking up the plans for going to Washington this summer (yes, I'm going yet again). I have updated the Video Game Collection page with a few new games, though, and I've bought a ton of new tri-Ace merchandise, some of which is listed on the tri-Ace Collection page. Yes, you've read right - I managed to get the Star Ocean Perfect Sound Collection! And boy, is it wonderful. I'm looking forward to writing a little "review" on that one. Speaking of soundtracks, you may notice that I've got several new ones. I guess I've gotten a little burnt out on comics lately because I've been OBSESSED with game soundtracks for the last month or two. I've bought quite a few (including some non-tri-Ace albums), and I've been loving them.

February 7, 2004: After much picture editing, I finally got my Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time review page up! Even if you've already read the GameFAQs version, this one is still worth a read because it includes a bunch of stuff (mostly silly humor) that I had to trim out of the GameFAQs version. Yes, I know it's an extremely long read (my longest review yet, and that's really saying something), but if you really love the game or want to know about it, I think you will enjoy it. At least I hope so. ;) As for life, I bought a few more comics while shopping for Andy's birthday. They're all Star Ocean: The Second Story related. I got two Enix Supercomics, two 4-komas (which will bring my SO2 4-koma collection near completion with only two left to get), and one hentai doujinshi. The hentai doujinshi was really cheap, and I wanted to get something different from the norm, so please, no teasing. ;) It looks like I'm too broke at the moment for much of anything else (I just recently plunked down 800 bucks for school. x_x Don't pity me too much, though, because I'll slowly be paid back over time. :P) I'm gonna have to put off the Director's Cut for a little while, but it's not like I have time to play it now anyway. o_O Well, it's off to the FAQ I go. It may be a little while till the next update if I choose to complete my update for that before more site work, but we'll see.

January 30, 2004: GRAND RE-OPENING! Yep, I'm back to working on my site, and it's been fully moved to my wonderful Inverted Dungeon host. If you haven't already prior to reading this, please update your list of Favorite/Bookmarked sites, and add it if you've yet to do so. ;) Now to catch up... Well, I don't have much to report. o_O After my great vacation in Washington this summer (conveniently missing the big blackout), I came back to New York in September, and I worked like a dog for college that semester. Now I'm just a few days away from starting the spring semester, but I have a much lighter class load (which should be very beneficial for this site, hehe). I've made a lot of purchases this last half year, so you can view my updated Video Game Collection and tri-Ace Collection pages. I've bought so many tri-Ace comics recently that I don't even have enough time to look through all of them yet, and as always, I'm adding to my collection of games. I've picked up several awesome imports ranging from the tri-Crescendo creation Baten Kaitos on GameCube to the wacky new Choaniki on PS2. At the moment I'm not playing much in order to focus purely on this site and my Blue Sphere FAQ. Expect an update to that on GameFAQs within the next month or two, and for the site, I plan to get my Star Ocean 3 review up and add a whole bunch of new products, pictures, info, and personal opinions to the merchandise pages. I got a lot of cleaning up to do on the site before I can work on getting any new big merchandise pages created. However, I'll let you in on a little secret... the next page will probably be for the Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut merchandise. ;)

July 19, 2003: This isn't a real update, per se; I just wanted to let the visitors of my site to know that I've acquired a new host! My buddy Mike AKA Darkmoon Firelyte of www.inverteddungeon.com is so nice that he offered to host my site free of charge with no pop-ups or ads whatsoever and just about all the storage space I can use. My new address will be: http://www.inverteddungeon.com/triacesuperfan, but don't expect there to be much of any moving or site work until I'm back in NYC. Until then, you can try to find what additions I made to my Video Game Collection page if you're desperate for an update. :P Oh, you can also go to GameFAQs to see my new Star Ocean 3 review, and my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere FAQ will be updated shortly.

June 7, 2003: IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've more or less run out of storage space here on Geocities. I apologize, but I'm going to have to take back what I said before. I won't be able to make much of any updates to this site while I spend the summer in Washington. I can add a little bit of text info to pages, but considering that this site is image-focused, that's not too useful. Over the summer, I'll try to find the best option for this site's growth, and I'll be working on reviews and FAQs just as I promised. Until then, enjoy all the new things I've added since the last update. There's been a ton added to nearly every merchandise page, so check out the Star Ocean Merchandise page, Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page, Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time Merchandise page, and the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages. Oh, and I've been going crazy with the shopping too. :P I got five Blue Sphere comics on the way, one SO2 comic, and the SO3 Voice Mix album coming.

May 19, 2003: Another disappearance by yours truly. o_O Well, I'll tell ya what's been going on. Since the last update, I got too excited in anticipation of Star Ocean 3 to focus on anything, and then I got the game and played it like mad. Around when I hit the mid-point of the game, I got in a big depression for a few weeks (no, it had nothing to do with the game :P ). Once I got through that, I started playing like crazy again, and I still am. :) Mainly because the game is super fun, but also because in a little while I won't be able to play it for a couple months. Yep, yet again Andreas and I are heading off to Washington. This time it'll be for almost the whole summer. I'll be taking Star Ocean and Blue Sphere with me, of course, but the PlayStation games have to stay behind. While new merchandise pages will probably be impossible to create then, it should be a good time for those interested in my site, FAQs, and reviews. Expect lots of little updates, and hopefully I'll get those Blue Sphere guides finished. Oh, and speaking of which, I picked up a couple nifty new tri-Ace items. I'm getting another Blue Sphere guide book thanks to Mitochondria Eve of Mayonaka Shimo fame, and I was amazed to see the one and only Star Ocean 4-koma manga on eBay (which I quickly snapped up). I also decided to focus my collecting on Star Ocean and Blue Sphere (for the time being at least) because the merchandise for those games are more "special" to me since there's so little available. Later on I'll go nuts trying to get everything for SO2, Valkyrie Profile, and SO3. ;P Finally, YES, there is a purpose to this update. Check out the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. Several new items have been added as well as lots of item info.

February 18, 2003: *phew* I think that's enough work for one day. I added a Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time Merchandise page, and I made minor updates to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages, the Credits page, and the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. I also scoured the web for pictures for the upcoming Valkyrie Profile manga page. The problem is that unlike the doujinshi pages, I already pretty much know of all the official manga out there, so the hard part is getting images of them all. I realized something really depressing today too. During the last reformatting of my computer, my documents folder was overwritten, and even though I didn't have much in it, I lost my resume, the latest versions of my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere guides, several feather pictures I was planning to use as background images for future Valkyrie Profile pages, and some other stuff. :( Oh, and BTW, 2002 update have been moved the old updates page.

February 17, 2003: I got a lot of new stuff for you guys. :) I finished my Getter Love!! review page, and I also created the page for my gimmicky Valentine's Day Stinger review. Both are enjoyable reads, in my opinion, but I'm a little partial to the Stinger review. ;P Finally, I added a long overdue Credits page to thank all the people who have helped make this site what it is.

February 16, 2003: Another update before I hit the hay. I quickly threw together a page for my tri-Ace collection. I also listed the anime I own and other Japanese junk. The page isn't too pretty, but it'll do. Since I closed my board, I needed a place to keep track of my collection and to offer a publicly available list for those who are curious. I've begun the page for my Getter Love review, so that should be complete in the next couple days. I'm thinking of creating a Star Ocean 3 merchandise page since I'll have to eventually anyway. I don't know, though, there's only like three things I could put on it at the moment. o_O

February 15, 2003: Hello, hello, boys and girls. Wondering where I've been all this time? Well, I've been very busy. I started college, I wrote a nearly 100KB FAQ on Getter Love and a 44KB guide on Stinger, I've written two new reviews, I've played a bunch of games, I closed down my message board, and I've ordered more Star Ocean stuff. :) For those of you who may be worried, don't fret, the closing of the message board is not a sign of impending doom. This site isn't going anywhere. As you may or may not (most likely not) have noticed, I've been adding a few games to my Video Game Collection page, including the fantastic Wonder Project J. Expect a FAQ and review on that one. The Links page is in constant turmoil with sites closing down constantly and such. I also just added lots of comics, pictures, and info to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages, so check out the new stuff! So who's looking forward to the Japanese release of Star Ocean 3? You know I am. :) It's so depressing to see the first few items of Star Ocean 3 merchandise pop up on eBay when I have no money for them, but I'm sure the game and all the comics I have coming my way will console me. :P I don't really feel like starting any new games or projects before Star Ocean 3, so I'll probably just chill out and work on the site a little. There is one pressing problem I should address, though. I'm running out of space. As you know, pictures are the main focus of this site. My merchandise pages would be nothing without them, and I have a massive collection of pictures I still need to upload. There's no possible way for me to fit them all on my site with the meager space Geocities gives me for free. They have a pay service, but it would be mostly wasted money because I don't need sub-domains and five email accounts and crap like that. I just need something simple to enter HTML into and a good amount of space. The other options out there are quite expensive, and since I haven't had a job in a long time, I can't even really afford Geocities monthly charge. So to those of you interested in my site, there may be a point where I can no longer make updates for awhile until I figure something out. If any of you have an suggestions or offers, I'd happily listen to them. Remember, even though my board is gone, I can still be easily contacted via email or AIM (user name "Virgo Gloriosa").

November 15, 2002: Another review put up. This time it's for Castlevania Adventure. Well, there's not much else to say but "Go read it!"

November 8, 2002: I'm back in NYC! Well, I've been here for awhile, but now I've updated! :P I finally got the Castlevania: Circle of the Moon review page finished and ready for public display. Now just one more review to add, and I can finally have a clean slate to begin work on my Getter Love FAQ. I also added more items, info, and pictures to the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. Guess what, guess what! I got my Blue Sphere OST/AST and my Star Ocean 2 comic today! Great stuff, man. I'll get my personal opinion on the soundtrack up soon, and I'm going to start adding info like yen prices and ISBN numbers when I can find them for products. Every little bit of info helps when you're trying to find that elusive tri-Ace product. :)

October 27, 2002: This time period shall now be known as the great doujinshi flood of 2002. Every time I freakin' turn my back, more doujinshi I've never even seen before pops up on the 'net. I guess this is what happens when I completely ignore the world of tri-Ace merchandise for half a year. :P Well, by now you should know that I added several more comics and info to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages.

October 25, 2002: *watches the disk space and my time in Washington fly by* Yep, another unexpected update. I added some more pictures to the Ittou Ryoudan doujinshi and the November 2002 issue of Shonen Gan Gan to the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. Only 5.5 MB of disk space left on Geocities (expect a move in the future) and only 4 more days left before I got to head back to New York. I'm kind of bummed out about both, but I know they'll bring about new good things. I got some good news, though. Seems like all my ordered stuff will be in my grubby little tri-Ace craving hands soon. >) AnimeNation FINALLY shipped my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere OST/AST (*explodes*) and my Mayumi Azuma manga (*doubly explodes*). TokyoCentral shipped my Valkyrie Profile Material Collection (*implodes*), and Eve shipped my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere guide book. O_O *dies*

October 19, 2002: Okay, so I lied. :P Seems like an endless stream of doujinshi I don't know about keeps popping up all over the 'net. I added the Valhalla doujinshi to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page and the Ittou Ryoudan doujinshi to the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. I also added 7 games to the Video Game Collection page. Not a real update by my standards, but a little something to keep ya going till I get back to NYC.

October 17, 2002: Whoa, just ten days. I rule. O_O This'll probably be the last update before I go back because well... I don't have anything to update with. :P Anyway, I added a few more pictures and some info to the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page, and I gave the Links page a complete overhaul. I got rid of the message board section and added a section for online stores that carry tri-Ace products. I also added a whole bunch of sites owned by friends. Go see Andy's new site too! By the way, about the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi, I decided to pass on it. Instead, I ordered even cooler stuff. O_O I got the OFFICIAL Star Ocean 2 OST (scroo that bootleg crap), the Valkyrie Profile Material Collection, and a Star Ocean: Blue Sphere guide book! *jizzes self*

October 7, 2002: Tina, the homebody turned traveller, is once again on the move. I'm back home in Washington for awhile (been here about two or three weeks now), and I'm having a lot of fun with Andreas, my family, and just dinking around with all my junk. Since I'm sort of on "vacation" (from what?), I've been splurging and ordering tons of tri-Ace stuff after months of barely spending anything. And being in a tri-Ace frame of mind makes it a perfect time to update the old site. :) Several products have been added to the Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page, including one I just bought myself. O_O Not often am I able to comment on these products. :P (I also got the Blue Sphere OST/AST on backorder.) The Valkyrie Profile doujinshi pages were horribly out-of-date, so A LOT of info and new pictures have been added to both pages. Be sure to check 'em out. I may be ordering a bunch of Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile doujinshi soon too, so I'll finally be able to give my thoughts on tri-Ace doujinshi (hard to believe I still don't own any). Well, that's about it. My huge collection of tri-Ace merchandise photos is back on the computer in NYC, so I won't be able to add any new pages until I get back. Same goes for reviews. I do plan to make at least one more update before I head back to New York, though. Till then, peeps.

September 11, 2002: As you may or may not have noticed, I've been making updates to the site recently without mentioning it on this page. This is, first and foremost, because I'm a lazy bastard, other than that, I wanted to make a really substantial update. Two new pages have been put up, one merchandise-related the other a review. Go check out the Star Ocean Merchandise page and my Wonder Project J2 review. Oh, and I should mention that I won Review of the Month/Week at GameFAQs once again with that review! The game I got with my prize money, Tales of Destiny II, along with many other new games have been added to my Video Game Collection page. Well, I think that's it. I hope I'm not forgetting anything, and, yes, before anyone points it out to me, I'm aware of what day I'm making this update on. I think it's best if people don't make a huge deal out of it. Anyway, keep an eye on this page and the index. I got more updates to make.

June 29, 2002: How long has it been? About a month, eh? I've gone longer. :P Well, this update is a big one (as far as my site goes). I made an entire new page. The Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Merchandise page. Not too many products listed, but not too many exist, so it's not my fault. ;P About time I got some Star Ocean stuff up on this site, no?

May 24, 2002: Update! O_O! Geez Louise, it's been a long time since I last updated. And it's not for any real reason either. Granted, there's a lot of remodelling going on in my house at the moment, so I'm moved up in the parents' bedroom. : / The computer's here, but it's set up in a way that's not very comfortable to use for long. Anyway, the real reason why there's been no updates is that there really wasn't anything to update. I'm satisfied with the layout of all the pages (for now), and I don't have any new reviews finished just yet. Granted, I could work on a new page, but... I think what I said about the remodelling will tell you why I haven't. I haven't been completely sitting on my laurels, though. I've been making a little progress in my Blue Sphere FAQ and walkthrough, and I'm brainstorming for my F-Zero X and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon reviews. Now, enough rambling, I should say what's been updated. It's mostly minor stuff. Some typos fixed in several reviews, the Lunar review has a bit more added to it (much better conclusion now), my Video Game Collection page has 5 new games added to it, I made a page for the 2001 updates, and the Links page has two new links. That's about it. I don't know when the next update will be, but keep checking here for new stuff!

March 25, 2002: Hooray! My Final Fantasy VII review is finished and up! I was a little disappointed with it at first, since I'm a bit rusty at review writing, but the more I read it, the more I'm happy and proud of it. :) I think it's an enjoyable read, and it offers a different perspective on the game than most people will give you. Amazingly, it was accepted at GameFAQs too, even though CJayC has said many times that he's not accepting any more FF7 reviews. I guess my review is just that damn good. o_O

March 14, 2002: Gack, how many times am I gonna make site updates and then forget to update this page to let you guys know what's new? :/ Well, better late than never I guess. Several days ago I fixed up the Tail Concerto review layout. I'm finally satisfied with the layout of all my pages. For now... At last, I can focus on adding new things to the site rather than updating the old. I'm currently working on a review for Final Fantasy VII. It's gonna be a long one. o_O I'm also thinking about making a seperate page for the 2001 updates, as this page is getting kind of long.

March 6, 2002: By now you guys have probably noticed a little something new about the index page. ;) Over the last few days I've been adding things here and there, so it's time for an update to let you know what. Anyway, if you're interested in a little explanation of the index page addition, check out my About Me page. I also made a few changes to the About Me page to reflect the recent changes in my life. I added one game to my Video Game Collection page. I just got Shenmue from amazon.com with my gift certificate that I got from gamefaqs.com for winning Review of the Week with my Tail Concerto review. Finally, I added a cool site called Mayonaka Shimo to my Links page. Phew, I need a break after all that link typing. =P

February 28, 2002: I'm back! I've been here in New York for a couple weeks, but not until now did I get in some serious computer time. I've been trying to catch up on things and taking care of little stuff that I've been meaning to do online (and I have a ton more to go). This update is just a minor one. I added a link to my message board on the index page as well as my suggestions for what to view this site with, and I changed this background yet again to make the page more readable. Mostly this update is just to let you guys know I still care about this site. :)

January 25, 2002: Well, looks like I'm gonna be here in Washington a bit longer than planned. It's best that I get my wisdom teeth taken out while I'm still here, as I already have a good oral surgeon and such, so that's what we're going to do. Andy is going to stay here too. Anyway, all that means to you guys is that it'll probably be a little longer until I get back to regular site work and work on my walkthrough and FAQ. I did add a tiny bit of info to the Valkyrie Profile hentai doujinshi page about the Valkyrie Profile in Babel doujinshi.

January 13, 2002: Sorry for the disappearance, peeps. I should've said something about all the stoof I would be busy with before I disappeared from the net. Well, my boyfriend Andreas came here on New Years Eve, and he'll be here for about three weeks. So, as you can imagine, I'm not online much at all. In about a week and a half I'm moving to New York to be with him. Once things settle down a bit, then you'll see more of me, and site updates will resume. :) Oh, and another thing keeping me offline is this crummy flu I got. :( I'm feeling a bit better, though, so I decided to add 5 games I bought with Andy a week ago or so to the video game list page

December 26, 2001: More layout madness. :) I updated the layout of the Lunar review. I also made the background for this page a bit darker and A LOT quicker to load. I added my Christmas games to the video game list page. And no, I'm not some spoiled yuppie who gets like a thousand dollars worth of games and systems for Christmas (and I'm not exaggerating... I've added up the value of people's Christmas presents lists before...). Just two games. Golden Sun for GBA and Paper Mario for N64. Yay, I have 150 games now! Oh, and you might have noticed the new counter on the index page. ;)

December 24, 2001: I've been tinkering around the last couple days. I totally revamped the Links page. I spent days working on the background, and I think I finally got it looking good. The page looks MUCH better, should be a lot easier to read, and the background should load quicker. I also added two new links. One being to a spiffy Star Ocean site called Star Ocean Universe, and the other to the Castlevania Dungeon Forums. I recommend you check both out. :) I also made the Phantasy Star II review page look like the Sonic the Hedgehog review page. And finally, I fixed up this page too. Merry Christmas, everybody!

December 20, 2001: Eek, I've been a bad, bad girl! ;P I finished the Valkyrie Profile hentai doujinshi page a few days ago, yet didn't put it in the updates. While I got a link to it here and on the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page, don't look on the index page for a link 'cause there's never gonna be one. I only have the page and pictures there for the sake of completion. I want my site to be as comprehensive as possible. I'm not into hentai, so I sure as heck don't want my site to be known as a "hentai site". I'm keeping it off the main page so it doesn't become a focus of this site. Anyway, I also added 7 games to the game list page. After all the site work I did the last few days, I'm kind of burnt out, so don't expect any major updates (ie new pages) any time soon. It's about time I get back to working on my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere walkthrough, actually.

December 16, 2001: Well, my update has FINALLY shown up on GameFAQs. I mostly did cosmetic work today. I improved the look of the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page and the Sonic the Hedgehog review page. I also begun work on the Valkyrie Profile Hentai Doujinshi page. :/

December 15, 2001: I finished the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page! Well, more or less. A couple of the doujinshi are untitled since I can't translate the names, and I don't feel like being a pest to get someone else to do it for me (right now ;) ). And there will always be more to add as I discover 'em. I'm still experimenting with the layout and tables as well. I really want my site to look good and professional, but no matter what I do it looks too "home-made". So I'm trying my hardest to understand tables better and hopefully use them in more visually appealing ways.

December 14, 2001: Damn you, GameFAQs! I sent in my update early yesterday evening, and it's still not up! >:( Well, anyway, I started the Valkyrie Profile doujinshi page! YAY! It's my very first tri-Ace related page! It's the first step to having the best site on the web about tri-Ace merchandise! It's only partially complete as I type this, but who knows maybe I'll finish it tonight. ;)

December 13, 2001: It's a miracle, I completed the Lunar review! =P Go check it out. And if that wasn't amazing enough, I got an update for my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere FAQ sent into GameFAQs. Oh, and I won Reviewer of the Week for my Tail Concerto review! Hooray for me! Next I'm gonna work on getting another 1/4 of my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere walkthrough done (which would bring it up to half of the game). As far as the site goes, well, I'm done with making review pages for the time being. I do have a pretty lengthy Star Ocean review, but I don't feel it's up to the quality of the ones I have already up. I'll have to rewrite it a bit sometime. I guess it's about time I work on the tri-Ace related sections of this site! :)

December 3, 2001: Yet another long overdue update. First off, I had spent a WONDERFUL two weeks with my boyfriend in New York. The city was awesome (even though I didn't see any of the tourist-y junk), and I cherished every second I spent with Andreas. And I got some good news. I'm going to move to New York with him in January! So as you (whoever the heck you are) would expect, more updates aren't likely for a while. I didn't do anything major this update either. The Lunar review still sits unfinished. :( All I did was add some more games to the game list page and add three new links on the Links page. Nevertheless, I'm glad I got that stuff taken care of, and I look forward to working on my site more when my life is a little less crazy.

October 15, 2001: To all... zero of you out there who are waiting for updates, I apologize. I'm still in my depression slump, plus I'm stressed and trying to deal with my parents over my trip to New York next month. But since I wasn't in the mood to play Blue Sphere tonight, and I really didn't want to work on my walkthrough (though I should...), I decided to do some work here. I changed Mondo Maniac's banner on the Links page, and I changed its description slightly too. Recently bought 6 new games (5 NES, 1 Genesis), so I added those to my game list page. And finally, I finished up the text of the Lunar review, so all it needs now is some screen shots. In other news, I submitted the first version of my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere FAQ to GameFAQs, and shortly later updated it with more info. I still got a lot of work to do on it, but I'd like to get a partially completed walkthrough submitted first... Expect to eventually see them here on my site. Like... when it finally becomes a tri-Ace site. :P

October 5, 2001: Ugh, I've been in a slump lately. Just depressed, exhausted, and not interested in doing anything whatsoever. That's why I haven't been updating. I actually finished my Tail Concerto review page quite awhile ago, but I just didn't feel up to adding it to the index page or mentioning it on this page. But I did now, and I might do a tiny bit of work on my Lunar review page tonight. We'll see.

September 23, 2001: Well, I broke my tradition of updating every single day. Since I finished up my Genesis review pages, I had to take PSX game screen shots next. I brought Lunar and Tail Concerto as well as my Dual Shock to this house, but I didn't get a chance to take any screen shots due to my boyfriend. ;) I did get the chance to take some today, so I begun putting together my Tail Concerto review page. I'm feeling a bit lazy, so I think I'll take the rest of the screen shots I need and add them in tomorrow. I'm more in mood to work on my Star Ocean: Blue Sphere FAQ tonight. But, hell, I might not even do that. All work and no play makes Teenie a dull girl. ;P

September 21, 2001: Phew! I finally finished my Phantasy Star II review page and my Sonic the Hedgehog review page. For awhile I was even considering moving my site yet again. After just viewing my PS2 review page several times and showing it to maybe two or three people, I exceeded my bandwidth allowance! Then when I was working on it later I did yet again by ONLY viewing it myself! I was really worried about it, but I did a ton of work resizing and converting files, so I think it'll be okay now. I'm really not in the mood to move my site again any time soon. I did register an account elsewhere, though, so I got a good free web site hosting service just sitting there for when and if I ever need to move.

September 20, 2001: Holy cow, I just worked about three solid hours straight on my site on ONE review. Well, putting up the reviews would have been simple, but I had to go all out like I usually do. =P I worry about all the space the screen shots are taking up, though... They're really big files... Well, if worst comes to worst, I can always remove some (16 pictures for one review isn't really necessary ;) ) or I can sacrifice their quality a bit in order to make the files smaller. I didn't have enough time to finish the Phantasy Star II review page, unfortunately, but I'll work on it tomorrow.

September 19, 2001: YAY! I did it! I got all the old pages moved! I can't wait to create some new stuff. :) I find it easiest to organize if I work a bit backwards. (So the index page will likely be the last thing I do.) I took care of the basic site junk like Links, About Me, and this page, so now I'll work on some of the specific merchandise pages, some goofy stuff, and pages for the junk I write, like reviews and FAQs.

September 18, 2001: Got another page moved. :) My links page. If I'm not mistaken, all I got is my About Me page left to move, so soon I'll be creating completely new pages. :)

September 17, 2001: Bleh, nothing much to say. I finished my Tail Concerto review, which will EVENTUALLY be on the site, but right now it's only been submitted to GameFAQs and posted at a message board. As far as actual site work goes, I went through my Homestead links page. Unfortunately, several of the sites are now gone, and I had to change some banners too. I uploaded all the banners I'll need, but I haven't begun creating the page yet.

September 16, 2001: Hooray! I got my entire video game list page moved to Geocities! I'm learning more and more about HTML, and it's becoming easier. It shouldn't be long before this site is really ready for the public! In other news, the television stations are finally going back to normal programming. I take that as a good sign. :)

September 15, 2001: This is a sad, sad time, but some good news for me. I finally figured out how to save with Geocities Advanced HTML editor, so I got my first page of my site moved to Geocities and done without any page builders at all! After Homestead became more or less a pay service, I realized not only that I would have to move, but I really needed to start using HTML if I wanted a decent looking site. It was never really opened to the public on Homestead, and I had just begun it, so no big deal. I'll continue to make updates as I move my few pages and create more. It'll be awhile before I show it publicly, but I still like to log what I've done. Gives me a sense of accomplishment. :)

June 11, 2001: I finished up the Links page, and I created this page and the Leon shrine. The index page still has the old text on it. :/ I'm also going to create the "Are you a tri-Ace Super Fan?" page soon.
